The Ryleh Text tells of many things. This lost book of the Necronomicon is one of the single most dread arcane volumes in existence. The formulae within its pages are of the darkest magicks most of which serve the sole purpose of protection from the Old Ones. The 28 Runes contained within the Vessel are of a Divine origin which is most likely the Elder Gods. The scroll found with this artifact is a guide on the usage of the Runes. The Vessel of Balon is a magickal device of immense power and its possessor takes advantage of the omnipresent knowledge that the Vessel contains. But the one who seeks answers from this artifact must be cautious as the spirits within are hostile and will seek to destroy those who have troubled them if they ever by chance escape their prison.
This piece is a functional box with a set of 28 runes stored inside. The skull box is life sized and anatomically correct and is cast in fiberglass resin . It has a green bone finish with handle, Yellow Sign Seal and back Clasp finished with a real bronze/patina finish. The back clasp is attatched to the skull cap and the faux jade pegs hold the back of the skullcap in place with the help of the Yellow Sign seal on the front of the Skullcap. The Runes are cast in resin as well and are colored in a black and red finish and come with a 12 page scroll on aged paper on how to use the runes and thier meanings.
